When Francois van Niekerk received the Western Cape Businessman of the Year award, Mergon decided to celebrate his achievement with a production showcasing some of his achievements combined with an overview of his success story. Building on Oom Francois’ words: “It’s better to feed the stream of life than your own dam,” we made a video featuring Pieter Faure, the CEO that took over from him wading into a stream. Later the theme is carried further showing the ripple effect of a stone thrown into the Stortema Hydro Dam (part of a Mergon project.) This ripple effect reflects the many successful projects that the Mergon Foundation supports. We are proud to be associated with Mergon and its nation shaping work.
